About Pebbles
***WE'RE ALWAYS ON THE LOOKOUT FOR FOSTER CARERS TO HELP US OUT SO IF YOU THINK YOU CAN PROVIDE A TEMPORARY HOME FOR ONE OF OUR BEAUTIFUL CATS PLEASE LET US KNOW. THE MORE CARERS WE HAVE AVAILABLE TO LEND A HAND THE MORE CATS WE CAN HELP REHOME***
This gorgeous little lady is very sweet but very shy. She doesn’t mind a pat, a scratch and a cuddle once she gets to know you but can take a bit of time to warm up.
Pebbles is an ex-breeding cat and sadly spent the first few years of her young life in an enclosure producing little kitties, so she wasn't well socialized as a young cat. But fortunately that time has now passed and she's now on the lookout for a new forever home. She was surrendered to us from the breeders and is now living the good life with one of our amazing foster carers.
Initially she will find a spot to hide and only come out when you’re not around to eat and poop. But if you spend enough time showering her with love she will slowly begin to trust you and start to venture out when you’re around. Soon enough you'll find her chilling out on the couching or snoozing on your bed.
The best way to bond with Pebbles is to keep her in a big play pen initially, where she can't run and hide, and spend lots of time with her in there. You literally need to force your love on her :)
Pebbles is not at all aggressive, just very timid. Initially she will shy away when you try to touch her but over time she will start to appreciate your touch. She loves a bum scratch at the base of the tail and behind the ears.
Once she starts to relax she will lean into your hand when you scratch her behind the ears and will lift her bum into the air when you scratch the base of her tail. It’s very cute. She will also allow you to pick her up and give her a hug and once she gets to know you will even roll over so you can scratch her belly.
Pebbles would love to find a comfy place in a quiet home with someone who's willing to give her the time and love she needs to build her confidence, come out ofher shell and let her beautiful personality shine through.
She is actually very quirky and highly amusing once you get to know her.
Pebbles is the sweetest little thing and does not have a mean bone in her little body. There is a beautiful and affectionate personality inside her that will come out if given enough time and love. She is also great with other animals, cats and dogs, and would be a great addition to almost any environment.
Pebbles is approximately 4.5 years old and has been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, flea and worm treated and is available for adoption right meow.
If you think you have the room in your heart and your home to provide this gorgeous little lady with a great life please let us know and we’ll be more than happy to arrange a time for you to meet and fall in love with her.

A little about us:
Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.
Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.
We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
We have recently created a Go Fund Me towards this end so if you would like to donate towards our cause please follow the below link.
