About Aria
Aria is looking for the following in her new home.
- With knowledge of huskies
- Having the option of being inside when her family is home, she loves her humans company.
- Another desexed male playful dog (not senior or puppy)
- To wear a leash when out of the yard until a recall is taught and reliable.
- On going training will really be beneficial to help build her confidence.
- Large yard with secure fencing.
Aria is a beautiful sweet girl but due to being injuried at 15 weeks old she is now a bit timid around new people and large dogs.
Shes a super cheeky girl and loves to have howling (choir practice) with her foster siblings. Cheeky Aria can opens doors and let herself inside. She loves being around people and being the centre of attention
Aria us looking for a new home that will be patient with her and allow her time so she can gain their trust. Aria loves to snuggle up and sleep either beside you in bed and sometimes sneaks up onto the bed.
She is fully house trained now.
Aria is actually a pretty lazy girl and will spend most the day sleeping in the sun having said that she does enjoy daily walks and the occasional zoomie.
Aria seems happiest when she is sitting with you on the couch watching doggy movies. She is ok with cats but needs slow interactions. Aria also likes to put her feet in water so a clam shell or babies bath is something she would like in her new home.
Despite her size, and being timid, she thoroughly enjoys a good wrestle match or a game or chase with other dogs in her foster home.
Aria would love a family who will take her on day trips and include her in their day to day lifes as she quite thoughly enjoys travelling around but will happily just sit and relax on car rides.
At this stage in her little life, a leash is a must and she is still getting used to walking with one! The excitement of freedom will see her running off into the sunset for a longer adventure than you planned if not contained.
Recently Aria discovered playing tug and war and loves this game the most.
She has also learnt to sit and is quite proud of herself. Aria is a smart girl who is very trainable. She loves to please and will thoroughly enjoy the challenge and reward of learning new skills. With some dedication, she may even learn
recall!
With all Husky breeds or husky crosses a secure fenced backyard is a must (1.8 m minimum) with no chance of digging underneath the fences or be able to get through any gaps.
The breed is to the best of our knowledge from the information we've been given.
*PLEASE read the ‘profile’ thoroughly before enquiring in detail.*
*Please only apply if you are ready to meet and adopt this pet now, and if all family members are in support of the adoption.*
Adoption details
Please note- we do not work on a first in best dressed basis, we assess all applications to choose the home that we believe will best match the animal.
If you believe one of our animals would be a good match for your home please send us a detailed email us with some information about the people and any other animals in your home as well as the type of lifestyle you can offer a new rescue pet.
We are volunteerswho run the rescue around families, paid employment and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require you to travel to meet the animal you are looking to adopt. For dog adoptions, any other dogs in your home musr attend the meet and greet, this enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
We reserve the right to refuse the adoption if we don't believe it's a good match for our animals.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care or we will assist you in finding them a suitable new home, this is a condition thst you agree to when signing our Adoption Agreement.
