About Sixpence
Hello my name is Sixpence and I bet you are wondering how I got my name, well this is it, my mother came from the Pound, and so she got the name of Shilling and so my foster carer thought we need to follow the theme so my siblings and I are all named after English Money – there is Farthing, Stirling and Quid.
I am a fun little tortie girl and I love more than anything to play, I will do somersaults and crazy contorted positions with my body to catch any toy on a string or that is thrown at me. I have no qualms in tumbling over my sister and the other foster kittens in the home when I am in pursuit of a toy. I will jump straight up to catch anything that dangles.
I am a great hunter and my favourite prey is the Sky Raisin, some people call them flies. I love to stalk them wiggling my but and pouncing and running around the house following them and running at full sped showing of my agility as I race to kill them.
I do like pats but I look like a bit of a spaz when I get them as I flop to the ground and then roll over, then look like I am going to attack you but I expose my whole tummy to get my pats, I do love a tummy scratch, and will awkwardly look at you while you give them to me. Just as a warning when I am getting my pats I flop around like a fish, rolling constantly as you give them to me, purring my heart out, not that you would know it as my purr is very quiet, so you have to lift me to your ear to hear it or feel the vibrations going through my whole body.
I am a Girl Kitten
