Meet Namiko! Namiko has spent a short time in foster care to help show her that life in a loving home is pretty great! Namiko is definitely on her way to trusting that and may just take a little bit of time to warm up to a new family. But with patience, she will soon be ramming her head into your hand and requesting head pats. Namiko is an independent young miss (meaning that she won't follow you into the bathroom) and despite her R.C.F (resting cat face), she will happily greet you with a little meow and a head bump to the leg. Namiko feels most comfortable when she has somewhere quiet to tuck herself away but will pop her head out to see what you're doing, and even come join you on the couch or in the loungeroom.

The best way to approach Namiko for pats is to let her sniff your hand, and she will show you if she is ready for some loving. But once she's had her fill of affection, she won't be afraid to let you know! Don't let this worry you though, as she'll be back to rubbing against your legs in no time. Namiko also enjoys body-slamming into the ground as she rolls over onto her back to get a few scratches under her chin, and her favourite toy seems to be as simple as a shoelace. So, if you're looking for a low-maintenance addition to your home, who will also respect your privacy in the bathroom (unlike most cats), come in and meet Namiko!
