About Peggy
Are you seeking an intelligent, active companion to join your rural lifestyle? Look no further because Peggy is ready to charm your heart!
This pint-sized bundle of energy is as clever as they come. She does the best, most poised 'sit' you'll ever see, and also knows how to 'drop' and 'shake' - sometimes attempting to do both simultaneously to increase her chances of getting a treat!
Peggy is searching for a person who will be home often and take her wandering through the countryside. Sniffing out new trails and stopping to smell the wildflowers is Peggy's idea of the perfect life. She is also fantastic in the car, sitting calmly in the back on road trips, provided that she has a comfy spot to sit and can feel secure on windy or bumpy roads.
Content to relax after receiving a decent walk, Peggy loves to nestle up somewhere with her people nearby. She loves enclosed, protected spaces and enjoys snuggling under blankets. She likes to be your shadow, following you about the house, but is happy to give you your personal space and doesn't need to be a lapdog.
Peggy is highly food-motivated and trainable and would thrive in a home with adults who can provide her with the calm, consistent routine she craves. While she's an absolute delight, she prefers the company of grown-ups and would be happiest in a child-free environment. She is also afraid of cats and needs a home without feline housemates.
Peggy completed puppy training and socialisation classes and is friendly but shy when meeting other dogs. With dogs of a similar age and play style, Peggy is happy to play all day. Her favourites include chasing, wrestling and playing bitey face games.
Is Peggy, the lovable little lady, missing from your heart and home? 🐾

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Following adoption - change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on listing) will be provided.
