About Callie
Meet Callie, a playful and energetic Kelpie cross with a heart full of fun and mischief!
Callie, along with her brother Caleb, are both at the perfect age to start training, and belonging to a working breed, they will learn quickly. Callie is intelligent and eager to please, making her a joy to train.
With Callie's dynamic energy, she would be happiest living in an active family on a property. Her adventurous spirit is a perfect match for wide-open spaces where she can run and play to her heart's content. Callie will need lots of activities to keep her engaged and happy. For this reason, Callie is not suited for life in suburbia.
Callie is ready and waiting to join her new family. So, if you own a property where this lively pup can join you on family adventures, then you might just be the perfect match for Callie!
If you would like to find out more about Callie, please call our Shelter Manager, Yvette on 0421 831 128.
Adoption details
If there is a cat/dog you would be interested in adopting that you have seen online or met at our Adoption Centres, you will need to fill out an Expression of interest. You can do this at the Centres or online at: friendsofthepound.com/adoption-apply
We only adopt out cats and dogs to locations that are within 2 hours driving distance.
If you are a homeowner, we need a copy of your Rates Notice. If you have a Body Corp, we need their written permission that cat/dog ownership is allowed.
If you are in a rental we need written permission from the Home owner/Letting Agent. The letter needs to be dated within the last week and state the property address, the name of the Occupant (adopter-to-be) and how long you have been at the property.
We cannot accept deposits and no hold can be put on the cat/dog.
All adoptions need to be approved by our Cat, Kitten or Dog Coordinators or Management so you might not be able to adopt the cat or dog at the time you meet them.
We aim to match the cats/dogs with the most suitable owner and home environment. Our goal is to have the cats and dogs go to a home where they can spend their entire lives, which could be up to 20 years or more for a kitten. and 15-20 years for a puppy.
