About Hugo STA012083
Introducing Hugo, a gorgeous guy with captivating green eyes who is bound to steal your heart. He has an easy-going personality, loves to spend time around friendly folks, and his charm is simply irresistible.
Our brave boy Hugo came to us with a past challenge that had left him with an improperly healed fracture resulting in a deformity to one of his front legs. Nevertheless, this trooper adapted quickly after the surgery and became an even more loving and inspirational member of our rescue family.
Hugo rocks his tri-paw status with strength and grace, showing that what he lacks in limbs, he more than makes up for in spirit. He's bouncing back wonderfully, and his capability to overcome adversity reflects his resilient, sunny, and affectionate personality.
His ideal home is indoor-only, where he can be safe and also other cats in the area as he is also FIV+. An environment with cozy nooks and lounging spots, maybe a window to watch the world go by, would be a bonus! This is simply to ensure our brave Hugo is safely accommodated with his new physical condition.
Perfectly adaptable to new situations and environments, Hugo would be the ideal companion for a home that will cherish him. This lovely boy's courage, combined with his stunning looks and friendly personality, make him truly remarkable. We can guarantee Hugo's heartening presence will undoubtedly add warmth and charm to his new family.
Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
