About Teddy
Teddy is a male Domestic Short Hair cat available for adoption in Bonnyrigg (South Western Sydney, New South Wales).
Teddy is a calm, clever cat who knows exactly how he likes to spend his day. He moves at a slow, sunny pace, but he's full of small surprises.
Ask anyone who's met him and fetch comes up fast. Teddy genuinely enjoys a game of it, no convincing required.
He's steady, affectionate and easy to read once you know him. He likes a good vantage point too, content to watch the world go by from a quiet spot.
A little about Teddy:
🐾 Plays fetch and means it
🐾 Stashes treats around the garden for later
🐾 Watches birds for hours from his favourite perch
🐾 An easy, settled presence around other calm cats
🐾 Rules the house solo, no dogs required
Most days, Teddy's rhythm is unhurried. Mornings often find him sprawled in a sunny garden corner, soaking up the warmth.
He has a habit of burying treats in the grass like tiny treasures, then circling back to dig them up again.
Evenings shift indoors, where he's happy to settle near you while the day winds down. Some nights end with a short wander around the garden before he settles in for good.
Teddy shows his affection in a calm, steady way. He's never one to demand attention, but he'll often choose to settle nearby.
Whether you're reading, relaxing or half-watching TV, he's content close by.
Teddy would do well in a home that enjoys quiet routines and a calm, settled pace.
Safe outdoor access matters to him, somewhere he can wander, sunbathe and keep watch on the world going by.
He's equally happy sharing a home with other relaxed, settled cats. A guardian who loves a slower pace and quiet company will fit right in with him.
Life with Teddy is refreshingly simple. He likes his independence, but he still wants you in the picture.
He's happiest when that affection comes back just as calmly as he gives it. A secure garden gives him room to enjoy that independence in his own way.
He's just as happy entertaining himself for a while, whether a treat hunt in the grass or a snooze in a warm patch of sun.
Picture quiet mornings with Teddy curled up somewhere sunny. Afternoons might find him patrolling from his favourite garden perch, or burying a fresh treat in the grass.
Some evenings bring a surprising round of fetch before he settles in beside you for the rest of the night.
Teddy is a calm, clever companion with just enough mischief to keep things interesting. He's ready for a home that lets him set his own pace, garden included.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
