About Sirius
Sirus is an independent character. He enjoys your attention and is happy to come sit with you, but isn't the type to curl up on your lap for a snuggle. He enjoys playing with the other cats in care and isn't fazed by the company of the dogs in the home. He likes to spend time gazing out the windows and doors plotting how he is going to "catch that bird". His favorite thing though is playing in the water bowl. Therefore, it is now a rule to have the toilet lid kept down when not in use!
During Sirus' time in care, he developed an eye ulcer. Despite treatment, it became quite severe. Fortunately, just as eye removal became likely, his ulcer began to heal. It has left scaring on his eye impairing his vision a little, however he has not let it impact him in the slightest. There is the possibility that it could flare up again in the future, so Sirus must be an indoor only cat, and he is ok with that.
Sirus isn't part of the welcoming committee when visitors come over, however, he isn't shy and will interact in his own way, on his own terms, when he feels like it.
Sirius is a healthy raw/high quality fed cat who has been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (microchip #956000015918492 , source #RE101165). He is available for adoption right now!
