Velma

Introducing Velma. She'll need to be started in a small launch room and allowed time to settle before allowing to explore the rest of the house. Velma can become easily overwhelmed in large open spaces. Some ideas for helping her settle and enjoy her transition to your home could include Scratch posts/Cat trees, hides (like cardboard boxes and cat igloos), access to shelves/ dressers to provide ample safe spaces, both high and low, all around the house. We recommend a patient and understanding adopter who can recognize that Velma will be timid going into a new environment and may take a little while to settle in before she shows her true self! We recommend no small children in the home as they may not read/understand basic cat body language and know to give Velma space.
