About Lady Marmalade STA011668
Meet the beautiful Lady Marmalade, a delightful charmer with a heart just waiting to burst with love. Though initially very shy, Lady Marmalade is the epitome of a diamond in the rough, her potential just waiting to be unleashed by a patient and understanding owner.
Being a naturally cautious girl, she weighs up her surroundings and takes a bit of time to warm up to new people. However, despite her initial hesitations, Lady Marmalade harbours a deep-seated curiosity, making her a lively, active, and engaging companion once comfortably settled.
The ideal home for Lady Marmalade would involve welcoming her alongside another gentle, confident feline. Having a sidekick to share in her explorations and playtime pursuits helps her come out of her shell. Alternatively, she also thrives within a household where an individual can offer her plenty of playtime and interaction.
Lady Marmalade's trust in humans is a delicate flower blooming slowly but surely. She calls for an experienced human with patience and a gentle approach to gradually build her trust. A calm, quiet home with no child or canine residents would be the perfect environment for her, as too much commotion can seem disruptive for her settled personality.
So, if you're looking for a gratifying journey of earning the trust of a delicate yet deserving creature, Lady Marmalade could be the perfect fit. She's a stunning delight waiting to transform into a confident, loving companion in the right hands, proving that patience truly does bring rewarding companionship.
Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
