On Hold
About Albert - 11 Week Old Kelpie X (Trial)
Hi! My name is Albert (Bert to my friends)! I am looking for my forever home!
I am a cute floppy puppy with beautiful eyes, a nice smooth black coat with lovely patches of white and brindle. I also have some little white patches on my feet and so my foster parents call me “twinkle toes” sometimes.
My foster family have taken me in only recently, and I have thrived in my new environment. I love playing with my brother and exploring our backyard. I am quite energetic and will take myself on a run, but then I am very happy to stop and relax, lying on my belly in the sun!
I am a smart boy, having already gotten the basics of toilet training and learning to come to my name and sit on command. I am very food-motivated, which helps!
I love a snuggle, easily relaxing next to you or on a lap. But I am very happy to chill out on my own, and sometimes like to just find my own space.
I think I would thrive in an environment with people home most of the week, or some other dog siblings to play with and show me the ropes.
Please contact my foster parents if you think I would be a good fit for your family!
Albert’s Summary:
- Needs some home the majority of the week or a friendly adult dog who can show me the ropes
- Best suited to school aged children
- Puppy Preschool is always recommended for puppies to help them get ready for basic training and socialisation.
