About Ernie - 11 Week Old Kelpie X (Trial)
Hi! My name is Ernie! I am looking for my forever home!
I love a snuggle and often fall asleep in my foster parents lap. I am super sociable and love meeting new people, winning them over with my cheeky grin!
I am a sweet boy with the gorgeous tan markings of a kelpie, but my coat is quite fluffy and soft, almost like a border collie. My foster parents just say I am 100% cheeky!
My foster family have taken me in only recently, and I have thrived in my new environment.
I love playing with my brother and exploring our backyard. I have little bursts of energy and love grabbing toys to play tug with. I also love snuggling up with soft toys.
I am a smart boy, having already gotten the basics of toilet training and learning to come to my name and sit on command. I am very food-motivated, which helps!
I think I would thrive in an environment with a people home most of the week, or some other dog siblings to play with and show me the ropes.
Please contact my foster parents if you think I would be a good fit for your family!
Ernie’s Summary:
- Needs some home the majority of the week or a friendly adult dog who can show me the ropes
- Best suited to school aged children
- Puppy Preschool is always recommended for puppies to help them get ready for basic training and socialisation.
