Miss Marlene is a real character and loves to play. She will tell you when she wants a play session. She will vocalise and also bring her favourite toys to you. She is not much of a lap cat, but will follow you around the house and always be close by.

Marlene likes to sleep on your bed, with her favourite toys too. Marlene loves pats and will give you head bumps and lick you. She's very chatty and will engage you in long discussions!

In her new home Marlene will need time to settle in and trust you. If she is frightened or scared she has a tendency to nip in fear, so she needs to get to know you gradually. By approaching her slowly and initially patting her on her terms, this will be avoided. Once she is comfortable and confident with you, her fear is gone and she is delightful.

Marlene would love to be in a family where there is someone around frequently to play with her as that is such a favourite pastime of hers.

We really want Marlene to find a wonderful permanent home as she has had rather a sad past. Someone who will cherish and understand her. Marlene will love to join a loving home without children or other pets. She will be a great friend to her special people. If that could be you, we'd love to hear from you.

Adoption fee includes vet check, F3 vaccination, flea and worm treatment, microchip - including the transfer of ownership - and sterilisation.

ADOPTION DETAILS
To apply to adopt, please complete a SAFE Cat Adoption Enquiry Form via our website. You will be advised if your chosen cat is still available and then put in contact with the carer for a chance to ask further questions. If a meet-and-greet is then arranged, we will email the adoption paperwork and payment instructions to you prior to this. Please note payment must be made before adoption trial starts and we are unable to take cash payment.

Our adoption process includes a two-week trial to ensure your chosen cat is the right fit for your home. After a successful trial period, SAFE Bunbury will arrange transfer of ownership on your new pet's microchip and email copies of their vet records out to you.
