About Gee Gee
Our sweet and ever so cute teeny tiny little girl Gee Gee is now looking for her forever home.
This adorable Tiny weenie little girl is just 2 kilos and a Chihuahua x Powder Puff
Gee Gee is a tiny, friendly, gentle and such a loveable girl. She is still coming out of her shell more and more each day. Gee Gee was very shut down and nervous when she came into foster care. She would hide in her kennel and shake and didn’t want any interaction with her foster family. It took a good three days before she would come out of her kennel for a pat or a treat. But over the weeks we have seen her go from a shut down ball of nerves to a cheeky, happy and precious girl. Gee Gee has the cutest little face and loves to play chase with you in the backyard and she especially loves playing with her favourite soft toy that is half the size of her lol She has tolerated the kids in the home but much prefers adults- like her foster mum Gee Gee has spent her life as an outside dog and therefore feels her kennel is her safe place but, very recently she has worked up the courage to come inside the home to follow her foster mum for cuddles and treats. I think in her own time she will realize inside is much better than outside once she’s in her forever home.
Gee Gee loves you to throw her toy around the backyard and play chase with her. She has also become very excited going on her walks. She loves a cuddle on the couch and will snuggle up on your lap with a few treats.
Gee Gee was initially nervous with all people when she came into foster care, but after a few weeks she became more confident and would go up to anyone that offered her kind words and a treat. She greets her foster mum with excitement and can’t wait for a pat to say hello. She’s been good with the kids and will happily watch them from a distance but will accept the occasional pat from them. She is very respectful and will gently jump up for a pat- lucky she’s only a tiny girl so she won’t push anyone over lol
Gee Gee hasn’t had much training at all. I’m unsure if she is house trained as she has only just worked up the confidence to come inside for small amounts of time. She walks great on the lead but that’s as far as her training goes. At dinner time she waits patiently for you to put her bowl down and won’t eat until you move away. Gee Gee now gets excited when she sees her collar and lead knowing it’s walk time and has a big smile on her little face. She traveled well in the car in a crate and didn’t make any noise or get car sick.
Gee Gee is definitely not a fan of dogs or cats and when she is with another dog will turn into a 50 kilo Rotty lol
Gee Gee LOVES her food and treats. She has two meals a day which consists of dry food for breakfast and wet food for dinner. She absolutely loves chicken and will do anything for it
Gee Gee has been really well behaved when left alone at home. She is happy to play in the backyard with her toys by herself, lay in the sun when it’s out or curl up in her kennel.
Gee Gee wasn’t a fan of having a bath but I feel she will get better the more she has. She definitely feels great after a bath and does lots of zoomies around the backyard- she looks so cute. She will require the occasional tidy up groom, but she has a beautiful soft healthy coat.
Gee Gee over the past five years has been an outside dog and has known that her kennel is her safe place. Once she arrived in foster care she was so scared and shut down she found comfort in the kennel which is out of the weather under the covered in alfresco. So that’s where she has slept but, now Gee Gee has built confidence in coming inside I don’t think it will take her long to realize the comfort of being loved inside with her new family and how much better it is sleeping inside
While Gee Gee is so tiny she doesn’t need much exercise but she is really enjoying her walks. So a short walk most days would suit her.
Gee Gee loves having cuddles on the couch with her foster mum and is soon learning it’s much better to be inside rather than outside. She will need reassurance from her new family that there’s nothing scary going on inside.

Gee Gee’s ideal home is to be with an adult family that will be understanding that it will take time for her to settle in and trust you. She would love to have a family to help her gain confidence in learning how to be a pampered pooch. A home where she can be an inside dog with encouragement and when she is ready. Have regular short walks once she trusts you. Her new home would need to be with no other dogs or cats so she can lap up all the attention to herself.
Adoption Criteria
A quiet home with a calm and loving family to help her transition into here new family with love and patience
A large yard is not required BUT we are seeking a home with a good sheltered undercovered area that is out of the wind so that Gee Gee can continue to be slowly introduced to inside life over time as this is still very scary for her and she feels a lot more confident outsider at this point
Please remember Gee Gee is VERY small can be stood on very easily so we are seeking a home that the family are very steady on their feet as to not have her be a trip hazard
A lovely little daily walk is something she loves
Children in the home are ok but we seek mature teens only if in residence as we don't not want to risk her being dropped or stood on
