About Astrid
Introducing Astrid, a British Shorthair, who would certainly qualify as a feline ambassador of love. This darling young lady is both affectionate and friendly. With her gorgeous coat and brilliant eyes, Astrid is a sight to behold.
Astrid is such an easy going and sweet cat. She loves to be around humans and to be petted.
Not only is Astrid beautiful on the outside, she has an equally beautiful temperament that promises to fill your life with joy. Brush her coat, rub her belly, or stroke her head – she enjoys all the attention she can get. Her low-maintenance, affectionate nature coupled with her breed's reputation for being easygoing makes her an ideal addition to almost any home.
Initially, she is timid in new environments, or in situations where there is loud noise and lots of people. It takes her a while for her to adjust but she does eventually get there.
Despite her loving nature, Astrid also appreciates having her own space at times. Whether it’s lounging in a cozy corner or basking in the sunlight alone, she understands the importance of personal space. Therefore she is best suited in a home with no young kids.
We are seeking an indoor only home with access to a bit of sunlight or one with a secure outdoor space.
She is currently on a hypoallergenic diet and this will need to be maintained. Her enthusiasm for food knows no bounds – she’s absolutely crazy for treats and meals alike!
In short, Astrid possesses the brilliant combination of physical beauty and pleasing personality. Make her your loving companion, and we guarantee a loving bond unlike any other. She looks forward to bringing joy and companionship to her new family.

Medical notes
Astrid has had a rectal prolapse. She has recovered well from surgery and is on a hypoallergenic diet and this will need to be maintained to minimise the risk of repeated rectal prolapse. She will also require one tablet daily to keep her in good health.
