Meet the gorgeous little Miki our 1-½ year old little Beagle x Jack Russell
Miki is a loveable little girl who is between a small and small med size who needs a loving and gentle home with patience to help her develop her confidence
Miki didn't have a great start to life and was found chained in an abandoned factory over the xmas break. Miki does take a few minutes of patience before she will warm up to strangers but once she does…. It's all cuddles and belly rbs lol
Miki is a loving and playful young girl who loves to play chase and wow can she run lol Her zoomies around the yard are like watching the formula one's race around the track lol

Mikis favorite things include
Hanging out with her favorite people
Cuddles on the couch
Venturing to the dog park
Playing with other dogs and doing zoomies
Kisses and face tickles
Interaction with humans
Miki will be shy and timid when she first meets you so it’s important she is given time to settle into a new home. She will soon warm up if you give her her favorite treat ….. chicken
Once she knows your she will love being around you and become your little shadow
We have noticed she does take longer to warm up to men so you will need to be gentle in nature with a soft demeanor. She is currently being fostered with teenage girls who she absolutely adores. She is unsure of noisy young kids so she will need a quiet family with older kids

Miki heads off regularly to the off lead dog reserve near home and enjoying meeting new dogs that are polite and not in her face
She has had a playdate with a border collie and couldn’t wait to initiate play and run around doing zoomies so we feel she would be well suited to a home with a well socialised male dog who likes to play and we feel this will help her confidence in the big wide world. She has not been tested with cats but could be a possibility given her timid nature She seems to thrive around other dogs and gains much confidence so it would be wonderful to have her adopted to a home with another K9 friend who has a great energy and loves to play.

Miki hasn’t has had a lot of training but is eager to learn
She will want to jump up on the couch or bed and snuggle with you
She is a bit zig zaggy in the lead but not a strong puller
She does like to have a sniff around and is quite confident in open areas. She has been walked down near cafes and people and is a little hesitant but with slow continuous exposure we believe this girl will blossom

Miki likes to be around you but will also spend time outdoors, she is left to wander in and out via an open door .
Miki is well behaved inside
But we have noticed she has a shoe fetish so we do suggest keeping valuables out of her way just in case.
She really just likes to lay next to you and hang out watching telly
She can be a little needy demanding pats but how can you resist such a cutie pie
Miki is not really a fan of dry dog kibble so she is given some chicken or canned food mixed into her food
Miki likes to sleep on her foster mums bed where she curls herself up into a little ball to sleep soundly all night
Hygiene and toileting
Miki is toilet trained
Miki has been a little bit car sick at times but other than that she’s a good passenger

The homes type we seek
Please do not apply if you have a small yard or in a terrace or unit style living as your yard will be too small cause this sweet girl loves to play
- Med to Large yard with shade , shelter and secure fencing
- An active home with
the time to keep her well stimulated and exercised
- If children in residence we seek mature kind and gentle dog savvy kids as she is a little shy
- If another dog in residence we seek a Male who is playful and well socialized and loves to play
