About Sugar
Introducing Sugar, a sweetheart who will melt your heart! Sugar is a delightful dog who is initially a bit shy, but warms up quickly when given patience and love. This lovable companion has a heart of gold and a personality that's as sweet as, well, sugar!
While a little unsure of the world around her, Sugar finds comfort in companionship with other dogs. Her future family should ideally include a calm, confident pup who can support her social growth and boost her confidence. She does, however, cope better with dogs of a more relaxed demeanor, as overly exuberant canines tend to overwhelm her.
One of Sugar's favorite pastimes is engaging in a friendly game of tug of war with her doggy friends. And nothing beats belly rubs! Once she gains trust and confidence, Sugar will roll over contently for a lovely belly rub from her beloved humans.
Do note, Sugar is a bit scared of balls, so introducing them very gradually would be the way to go in her new home. In every other regard, Sugar is a simple girl with basic needs - love, compassion, security, and lots of belly rubs!
Sugar is looking for that special family, one that understands her initial fears but will take the time to show her that the world isn't as scary as it seems. For that reason, we recommend no kids under 10.
Please note that Sugar has not been tested with cats.
