About Grilled Cheese
Introducing Grilled Cheese: The Playful Explorer
Meet Grilled Cheese, a cat with a name as distinctive as his vibrant personality. Bursting with playfulness and boundless energy, Grilled Cheese turns every day into an adventure-whether he's chasing feather toys, exploring cozy corners, or lounging in sunlit spots.
While Grilled Cheese may start off a bit shy with new faces, his endearing, timid side quickly gives way to a mischievous and affectionate demeanor once he feels at ease. His charming nature makes him an irresistible companion.
Among his feline friends, Grilled Cheese is a social butterfly, always ready for a game of chase or a shared nap. His cuddling skills are unmatched, and he has a knack for finding the comfiest spots to relax.
When it comes to dogs, Grilled Cheese prefers a gradual introduction. Though initially cautious, his adaptable spirit allows him to establish trust and form connections, making him a perfect fit for homes with other pets.
With his adorable appearance and lovable personality, Grilled Cheese is the ideal addition to any caring home. Get ready for a life filled with joy, laughter, and the comforting presence of a cat who knows how to capture your heart.
To book a meet and greet with Grilled Cheese please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
