About Kharn
Kharn is a gentle giant whose owner has passed away. This boy has lived with his owner all his life and is adjusting well to life without his beloved owner, which shows his ability to adapt to new situations and that he will settle well into his forever home.
Kharn was well known in his inner city community and would get quite a bit of attention as he was walked through the streets and at community gatherings. His owner ensured Kharn continued to have the exercise he needed by employing a committed dog walker.
Kharn still has a zest for life and is a healthy older boy who has been very well looked after and cared for. He has good energy levels for an older boy.
Kharn is a stately fellow who is looking for his forever home where he can be taken for walks and be part of a family.
This boy will initially met strangers with a little suspicion, but then he is fine.
Kharn loves enjoying the fines things in life as well, such as stretching out on the couch.
Please note that if you reside in Queensland or Victoria and are interested in adopting Kharn, you would need to be able to travel to Sydney with your family for the meet-and-greet session. In the unlikely case that Kharn does not fit into your family, you will be responsible for bringing him back to Sydney or assisting us in finding him another suitable home.
Medical notes
Kharn has been well cared for, vaccinated and he is desexed.

Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
