Hi there, I'm Meeko!

As you can tell from my name, I can become a bit meek (oh!).

I'm 3 years old and discovering this big world can feel pretty overwhelming sometimes. I'm a sweet, timid little baby, and yet despite this, I'm bravely working on my confidence. Sometimes, meeting new people and crowds can feel scary (including small humans and small dogs). When this happens, I tend to avoid those scary situations but I'm surprising the Volunteers with my courage on new adventures. I'd love my new human family to be patient and attuned to helping me to discover new things at my pace.

I think we'd create a sweet little life together, but I’d prefer if you have a quieter home. I'd be pretty happy to cohabitate with a tween, or teenager, as they'll know a thing or two about big feelings in a changing world –– and everyone knows that greyhounds give the best love. That's why you're here, hovering your mouse over the 'Apply to Adopt or Foster' button.

Our matchmakers go to greyt lengths to match each hound with the right family to make sure everyone's happy, and you'll become part of a wonderful rescue community with lots of support along the way!

All hounds are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated, and heartworm tested/treated. The adoption fee also includes our New Adopter Kit - collar, leash, muzzle and loads of other goodies to help you get your new hound settled into the family.
