Take a chance on Chance!

Chance is a handsome, friendly boy. He is affectionate, licky and loving!

Chance is a typical Kelpie mix in that he is an active, energetic, busy dog who needs to keep his mind and body busy. A small backyard just won't be enough for him as he will get bored. Chance is fostered on a property and needs very regular exercise and preferably play time with other dog/s to keep him mentally and physically stimulated (he is great with other dogs). He is showing ability with sheep so could be your very own 'muster dog' if you have a small acreage, or would excel at agility.

Unfortunately, if Chance is left in a backyard on his own he will get bored/frustrated and will look to escape. A home where someone is around lots or can take Chance with them out and about would suit, or a home that can exercise him lots before heading out the door.

If you are home, Chance is happy to follow you around all day checking out what is going on. He is an intelligent and loyal dog, he's house trained and not hyperactive or jumpy, so perfect in the house. He does need to be supervised around small animals but we feel would be fine with children.

Out and about, he has good recall, loves riding in the car and going to new places to explore. He adores the beach!

If you have an active, outdoor lifestyle and can commit to an active, intelligent dog then give lovely Chance a chance, and you will find he will be your new best mate!

MEDICAL NOTES
Adoption fee includes vet check, vaccination, microchip (including transfer of ownership fee), flea and worm treatment and sterilisation.

ADOPTION NOTES
Our adoption process for the successful applicant includes a meet and greet, (including your own dog if applicable), a home check (or photos of your yard and fencing to be supplied to us if not local), and a two week trial period to ensure your chosen dog is the right fit for your home.

All adoption fees must be deposited into our SAFE Bunbury bank account in full before adoption trial starts (we cannot accept cash). The Adoption Agreement will be emailed to the selected applicant in advance of meeting your chosen dog.

After the adoption trial period has been completed we arrange transfer of ownership of the dog's microchip to the new owner, and email out the vet records.
