Location: Ferny Hills
Snuggle scope: Timid initially then snuggly on his own terms; loves
pats, rolls for tummy rubs and enjoys the occasional mushy cuddle. Not a fan of being picked up.
Cat scope: Absolutely thrives with other cats – would do best in a home with a feline friend

Child scope : Unknown, likely best with older children
Medical Note: Whyte had all his teeth removed young due to severe stomatitis. This has done nothing to dim his love of food and he eats everything with great enthusiasm, if not with style

About:
Gloriously Gangly Ginger Larrikin
Whyte (known around the house as Biggles or Boofycat, because let’s be honest — “Whyte” is far too serious a name for such a daft ginger mog) is a gloriously gangly ginger gentleman with a gummy grin that could brighten even the dullest day.
He’s playful, more playful than people expect, and the very definition of a loveable larrikin. One minute he’s doing a Formula One sprint down the hallway, legs going in ten directions at once… and the next he’s diving into a tunnel at warp speed, only to pop out the other end looking ridiculously pleased with himself.
The Whyte Experience™ includes:
🏎 Larrikin Lap-Sprints
Whyte runs like the wind — fast, dramatic and ever-so-slightly uncoordinated, which only adds to the charm.
🎪 Tunnel Acrobat Extraordinaire
He lives for tunnels. Long tunnels, short tunnels, crinkly tunnels, tunnels that weren’t meant to be tunnels… If it can be zoomed through, he’s in it.
🤝 Social Butterfly (But Only With Cats)
Whyte absolutely adores other cats. He welcomed a visiting cat within minutes and has been happily playing, chasing and curling up with resident cats ever since. He is unquestionably at his happiest when he has a feline friend — so a home with another friendly cat is a must for his wellbeing.
📦 Professional Hider of Long Cats
He has a gift for tucking his very long ginger self into very small spaces: cupboards, boxes, cat tower cubbies, and any bag foolishly left open.
🧡 Devoted Companion — Once You Pass His Criteria
Whyte is shy with new people, preferring to observe quietly before making his move. But give him time — weeks, not days — and suddenly you’ve earned yourself a goofy, affectionate, melt-your-heart companion who trusts you completely.
He’ll gum you gently to show his love (don’t worry — it’s cute, not weird), offer safe belly rubs, and stretch his long lanky body beside you with total contentment.
Whyte is the perfect match for someone who appreciates a quirky, funny, wholeheartedly affectionate cat who blooms with patience and who absolutely needs another feline friend to thrive.
If you’re looking for a gentle ginger goofball to bring joy, laughter and very long legs into your home, Whyte is your boy.
