Ruby (formerely Azuki)

Meet Azuki, a loving cat who comes with an enormous heart. She has mothered nine beautiful kittens and now she's hoping to be part of a loving family herself. Independent yet sweet, Azuki is a "Queen Biscuit Maker", kneading her paws in sheer delight whenever she's content- which is quite often!

Azuki's favorite pastime is playing. Toss her a feather toy, and you'll stir up her charming playful side. She absolutely adores interactive games and will keenly chase toys with you, providing hours of mutual fun. Her keenness to engage with you through play is a testament to her warm and sociable personality.

Azuki has been in foster care with other cats and showed that she isn't particularly fond of other felines. We're unsure if this is because she was being protective over her babies or if she simply prefers human companionship. With her future family, if other cats are present, a slow, carefully-considered introduction process will be crucial in helping her to settle in.

However, the way to Azuki's heart is through attention and affection. Pats and cuddles are things she simply never gets tired of. If you are looking for a loveable, playful, and dedicated companion, Azuki might just be the furry friend for you. Whether she's making biscuits or curling up for a snuggle, Azuki's sure to fill your home with warmth and happiness.

LOCATION: ONSITE AT SCAR *Adoption Process* This animal is located in our Adoption Centre at 23 Grasslands Avenue, Craigieburn VIC If you are interested in meeting this pet, please call us first to make sure they are still available. You can meet cats and kittens housed on site at SCAR between 9am-4pm Tuesday-Friday. We can only facilitate greets on a weekend with an appointment, so please call during the week or send in an application via Pet Rescue if you would like to come in on a Saturday.
