About Shade
Meet Shade, a stunning and affectionate all-black, domestic shorthair cat. She is at the delightful and playful age of 14 weeks old and is ready to find her purrfect new family.
Shade is the type of kitten who adores snuggling at any time of day. Cozying up on the couch or arranging herself perfectly on a blanket, she's all about comfort and companionship. Her soft purring and kneading can lull you into tranquility, so prepare for some of nature's best stress relief!
One adjective that fits Shade like a glove is 'social.' She appreciates the presence of other cats and is always ready for a friendly sniff or a playful pounce. Though she hasn't been tested around dogs, she's young and adaptable and could likely grow to appreciate the canine members of her new family.
Shade is looking for a forever family who can provide her with a warm, loving environment and engage her in fun play. Shade promises her new family plenty of laughter and joy, a warm lap on cold evenings, and a companion for life. If you have room in your heart for a lovable, biscuit-making, black beauty, Shade might be your ideal new family member.
Adoption details
When someone contacts us to apply for an animal we will send an application form to be completed. When we receive a completed application form we will share this with the foster carer to approve the applicant.
We will then organise a meet & greet with the applicant and the foster carer to meet the animal, learn about their routine, behaviours and what they eat, drink, etc.
After the meet & greet the applicant is contacted to see if they want to proceed with the application and the foster carer approves the applicant.
We will then complete paperwork, payment, and organise a time to have the animal picked up.
Animals are then adopted on a 2 week trial, during which we stay in touch and provide support for the new adopter.
Once adopted we will send through vet records & paperwork and transfer their microchip.
We offer communication and support throughout the fostering & adoption process.
