Hey there, I’m Carlos. You may remember me from previous posts about having my man berries removed or dental check ups. 🍒🦷🦷

I am excited to announce I am up for adoption!! This is exhilarating news as I am longing for my forever family. At 10 years old I have a lot of love to give but I am looking for a quiet life. It would be fabulous for you to have a lot of time to spend with me, although I’m happy to entertain myself for a while if you do need to go out.

I am an absolute foodie, my favourites are blueberries, however I need to be supervised incase I try to inhale my food too quickly. I haven’t done this for ages and if you listen to the advice of my foster hooman, you will know how to avoid these occurrences. I love short walks down the street and I will follow you anywhere so that you don’t have to be lonely. I am keen to play fetch and play with squeaky toys, I really have them mastered!

I am currently sharing the hoomans with a bouncy, young dog who I have learnt to tolerate. I wouldn’t mind if there was a more mature soul out there to keep me company in my new home but I’d be happy to be the only dog in your heart too. I’ve met ‘cats’ and I don’t mind them either but I’m not interested in being their new bestie either.

I’m especially good in bed! At present my foster hooman lets me sleep on her bed. I start at her feet and throughout the night I make my way up to the pillow because I know how adorable it is to wake up gazing into my beautiful eye. I have been through so much in my decade of life, I take pleasure in daily grooming to keep me in my bestest condition. This includes daily wipes of my wrinkles, a gentle clean of my ears and twice a day teeth clean-up. This will ensure I stay happy and healthy so I am able to smother you with affection, love and fresh smelling breath. The guys at Squishies are so keen for the right family to apply. Carlos has previously had one of his eyes removed, this doesn’t bother him but it means he may need to go a little slower when he’s looking around. While in our care Carlos has had surgery to correct his BOAS, been desexed, had a major dental and treatment for yeast and ear infections that have now cleared up. He has also lost a number of kgs which he will need to maintain to ensure he stays at optimal health.
