About Ivy - 10 Week Old Kelpie X (Trial)
My name is Ivy and I am a super sweetheart with a big smile. At the moment I spend all my time exploring my huge yard and following my foster parents around everywhere.
I have been practising walking on lead around the yard, watching the cows, our neighbours and following my foster mum around the house with all these weird noisy cleaning gadgets. I am very interested in the outside world as it is all new to me, so I love to sit in the garden outside watching the world go by. I enjoy a game of tug-of-war and playing with my toys. I really love food and treats and have started basic training. I can be a little shy at first as everything is so new to me without my brothers and sisters but my confidence is growing day by day. I am loving people and the attention – I will almost fall asleep when I get belly rubs and a scratch behind the ears.
I have almost been sleeping through the night, usually only needing one potty break – and I will let you know when I need to go. I love to sleep in my crate and you will barely here a peep out of me once I snuggle up on my bed. My foster parents cannot believe I have not had an accident in the house yet – when they let me outside I run straight out to the grass area to do my business and run back looking so proud.
My ideal home would be with another fur friend to play with or owners who are home more often than not as I am still a puppy. I am best suited to school aged children and would also benefit from puppy preschool for basic training and socialisation.
Being a Kelpie X I would love a decent sized yard to run around in and play with my family. I also would love a home where I am part of the family and can come along on adventures.
