About Poptart
Introducing Poptart!
Poptart's mum is a Staffy x Lab and her dad is a Poodle x Roman Nose Bull Terrier and she was born 4th May 2022.
Sweet little Poptart was brought in to us as a stray & unfortunately her owners did not come to collect her. She is now on the lookout for her new forever home and she'd love to meet you! Poptart is an excitable love bug who has loved every person she's met. She loves to play, cuddle & smooch and she has a thirst for life that oozes from every part of her.
Poptart tested quite well with other dogs, however she can be selective with her friends. With dogs she likes she's playful and inquisitive with them but she will completely avoid dogs she doesn't like. She would be suitable to live with another dog, or be a spoilt "only child". If you have a friendly dog at home we will need to do a meet & greet with them to ensure they get along before going home.
Poptart seemed unfazed by cats during her testing. We believe with a slow & controlled introduction she could be able to live with cats. Please keep in mind we do all of our testing with cats in an enclosure. We cannot guarantee her reaction with a free roaming cat.
Poptart is untested with pocket pets at this time.
Poptart has shown no signs of food aggression or separation anxiety while being at the facility.
Poptart would thrive in a home where she is included as a part of the family.
Poptart's adoption fee is $450 and includes her desexing and lifetime registration.
Poptart has been treated for flea and worms and is up to date with her vaccinations.
To enquire more or to meet Poptart, please call 0499 900 272 or email ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com and speak to one of our friendly staff.
Poptart is looking forward to meeting you and she is currently located in East Maitland.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
