About Flower STA011748
Introducing Flower, a lovely, sweet-spirited feline who, although timid at first, possesses a delicate beauty that aligns perfectly with her name. Gaining her trust will take time, but just like a blooming flower, this beautiful girl is worth the wait.
Flower initially had a challenging start, but has shown incredible resilience. She is a shy and introverted lady who prefers to keep all four paws safely on the ground rather than being lifted up high. Because of her shy nature, she's an expert at finding hidden nooks and crannies which allows her to feel safe and secure.
What Flower may lack in immediate confidence, she makes up for in her ability to receive love. Although she's still learning how to accept human affection without feeling stressed, she's made great progress and noticeably enjoys delicate chin and head scratches.
Flower will thrive most in a quiet, patient home that understands her need for time and space to acclimate to her new surroundings. She's a lovely girl who's learning to trust and relax, and she'll blossom beautifully with lots of gentle care and patience.
While it may take some time to earn her trust fully, there’s no doubt that Flower is worth it. Given time, patience, and a peaceful environment, Flower will surely open up and show you just how loving she can be.
Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
