About Gizmo - Located in Glenroy
Hey there, fellow cuddle enthusiasts! I'm Gizmo, the dapper tuxedo kitten with a heart as big as my love for playtime and snuggles. Picture this: a handsome black and white coat, deep green eyes that could melt the coldest hearts, and a purr that could rival a symphony orchestra. Yep, that's me, and I'm already the top pick of my foster mom's favorites!
Let me tell you a little secret about myself—I'm a people-loving, cuddle-craving, chirp-emitting bundle of joy. Seriously, if there's a lap to be snuggled in or a shoulder to be perched on, count me in! I'll even throw in a few adorable chirps just to make sure you know I'm ready for some pets and cuddles.
But wait, there's more! I'm not just a one-human kind of guy. Oh no, I'm all about spreading the love to my fellow feline friends too. Growing up with my equally cute siblings, Gwen and Gremlin, and a bunch of adult cats, I've learned the art of socialization like a pro. Nose boops? Check. Playful wrestling matches? Double check. I'm the life of the kitty party, always up for making new friends and engaging in some good old-fashioned cat play.
Speaking of play, let me tell you about my favorite pastime—wrestling with Gwen and Gremlin. Those two are like the dynamic duo of mischief, and I'm more than happy to join in on the fun. Whether we're chasing each other around the house or staging epic wrestling matches, you can bet there's never a dull moment with us around.
So, if you're looking for a fun-loving, people-cuddling, cat-adoring companion to brighten up your days, look no further than yours truly, Gizmo. Trust me, with me by your side, every day will feel like a purr-fect adventure!

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
