About Gwenda - Located inGlenroy
Hey there, fellow feline enthusiasts! I'm Gwen, the petite powerhouse. Don't let my innocent Pixar movie-sweet eyes fool you; there's a clever cat beneath this adorable exterior.
While my brother Gremlin may steal the spotlight with his darting antics, I'm the brains behind the operation. You'll often find me quietly observing, plotting my next move as I watch him zoom around like a hyperactive mouse. Climbing cat trees? Child's play. Squeezing through obstacles? Piece of cake. I'm like the Houdini of the feline world, always finding a way to outsmart any challenge.
Despite my smarts, I'm not one to boast. I prefer to let my actions speak for themselves, quietly sitting and hoping my irresistible cuteness will lure you over for a hello. And when you do, expect a purr-fectly polite greeting, accompanied by a gentle nudge for cuddles.
But don't let my demure demeanor fool you; I've got a mischievous streak too. Playing with Gremlin is one of my favorite pastimes, and together, we're a dynamic duo of entertainment. Whether we're wrestling or exploring new territories, our adventures are always action-packed and full of laughter.
Speaking of Gremlin, he's not just my brother; he's my partner in crime, my sidekick in mischief. We're attached at the hip, balancing each other out perfectly. He brings the boisterous energy, while I bring the calculated charm. Together, we're unstoppable, a force to be reckoned with.
So, if you're looking for a clever, polite, and downright adorable addition to your family, look no further than me, Gwen, the pint-sized powerhouse with a heart of gold and a mind as sharp as my claws. Let the adventures begin!

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
