About Chester - Located at Nelly's Ark in Fairfield
First things first, I'm all about that high life. No, not in the flashy sense (although I wouldn't say no to a diamond-studded collar), but in the literal sense—I love perching up high, surveying the bird activity like a feline king of the jungle. And when it comes to claiming my throne on the couch, let's just say I have a knack for finding the prime spot, where I can stretch out and rule over my kingdom (read: your living room).
Now, let's talk quirks. I've got a few, but they just add to my charm, right? One of my favorite pastimes is turning water bowls into splash zones. I mean, who can resist the allure of a shiny bowl, especially when it doubles as a mirror for admiring my own fabulousness?
But wait, there's more! Ever heard of the zoomies? Well, let's just say I'm a pro at zooming around the house at breakneck speed, leaving a trail of fluffy chaos in my wake. But the absolute best part of being me? Curling up with my new family and soaking up all the love and affection. Because underneath this cool exterior beats the heart of a cuddlebug who just wants to be surrounded by warmth and companionship.
So, what do you say, human? Ready to invite this purr-fectly lovable rockstar into your life? Trust me, it'll be a decision you won't regret—just be sure to have plenty of treats on hand. Cheers to a future filled with snuggles, adventures, and maybe even a few impromptu concerts (I've got some serious pipes when it comes to meowing)!

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
