Choccy the dog is as irresistible as his sweet and moreish namesake 🍫

This big hunk of love is as happy as he looks and also totally handsome. 😁😎

He's a very affectionate, friendly, interactive boy who is keen to be with people but can chill out on his own too.
He really is a sweetheart who definitely doesn't realize his size!
(He's just around the 30kg mark so big but not a giant!)

Choccy can potentially live with people who work full time or are otherwise out of the house for longer stretches, though of course he'll appreciate lots of playtime and exercise too.

And guess what?! He's spent time around CATS and RABBITS and CHICKENS and he was appropriate and friendly with ALL of them!

Of course, introductions should always be carefully managed and it's important to have appropriate abilities to separate new and existing animals as everyone adjusts.
But he's got a lot of potential in this area.

Choccy is looking to be the only dog in his home, but he does have the ability to make dog friends in the right environment.

He's a big, energetic, adorable, in-your-face goofball and he can be very full on in his play and interactions with other dogs so any friends he makes will need to have compatible personality and play style.

He is inclined to be possessive of things that he values like toys and balls and doesn't like to share them with other dogs.
This resource guarding behavior can be easily managed but needs to be recognized by his family.

Choccy is a strong, strapping young lad who has very little experience being walked on a lead so he'll need some training and patience in this area and a family who is physically strong enough and confident to handle him.

Choccy is lovely with children but again, he's a big bouncy boy who forgets his size.
He could live with younger kids, but they'll need to be confident around dogs and adults in the home must be committed to appropriately supervising and managing all play and interactions.

He really is a great dog and is going to make an excellent addition to a lucky family.

Choccy's adoption fee is $480 including desexing, microchip and vaccination.

His foster carer has had an unexpected change in living situation so Choccy is temporarily staying in boarding kennels.
