About Duckie
Introducing Duckie, a charming and resilient female cat whose journey began on the streets of Townsville. She found a temporary haven with our founder and just recently moved to a foster carer on the Gold Coast. Now, Duckie is ready to find her forever family and a permanent place to call home.
As an ex-street cat, Duckie's past experiences have shaped her cautious nature. She is an indoor-only cat, a necessity both for her safety and well-being. In new environments, Duckie may initially be shy and timid, often finding solace in quiet, hidden spots until she feels secure and comfortable. However, once she adjusts to her new surroundings and family, Duckie's playful and loving personality emerges. She blossoms into a delightful companion, eager to explore her indoor world and engage in playful antics.
Duckie is well-suited for a variety of home settings. She gets along with dogs, making her a great addition to homes with canine companions. Whether as a solo cat or part of a larger furry family, Duckie can adapt and thrive. She is desexed, vaccinated, and has been treated for fleas and worms, ensuring she is in excellent condition for her new life.
For those willing to offer Duckie the patience and understanding she needs to feel at home, she promises to be a loving and entertaining companion. Could you be the special family to provide the loving, secure environment that Duckie desires?

Adoption details
Hear No Evil's Adoption process:
1st Step * You contact us to obtain an adoption application, and discuss the dog of interest.
Once the application is completed and returned it will be assessed for suitability.
2nd Step * A Meet and Greet with the dog and all members of the adopting family and and current dogs is arranged where possible.
This usually coincides with a Yard check to ensure the safety and security of the property on which the dog will be kept. - We understand that this is not always possible in interstate adoptions and this will be discussed on your initial contact.
3rd Step *Payment of the Adoption fee in full. The dog is then handed over with any belongings, and all relevant paperwork and records.
Transport arrangements are the financial responsibility of the Adopting party. Hear No Evil are happy to assist with departure preparations and ensuring the dog makes its transport connection.
Final step * Once the 14 day 'settling in' period has ended, the change of ownership microchip details are submitted, and the adoption is officially finalised.
