About Topsy
We are delighted to introduce you to little Topsy.
Topsy and her mum and sister were rescued from a back yard breeder and are now in rescue having the time of their lives. It took a few days for us to start seeing Topsy's personality come through, as she was quite timid upon arrival. But we are now seeing a confident little girl who loves to be in charge and boss her sister around.
Since coming into foster and interacting with other dogs who are older and larger than her, she has learned to balance her desire to be in charge with being sensible and not taking over too much!! She loves to play all day and run and play and run and play.
We believe Topsy would suit a home where there are children to play with - either as a sole dog or with another older dog who will continue to show her the ropes. Topsy will need ongoing training in walking on a lead, recall and basic commands. Her house training is going well but will need ongoing supervision. Because she is just a puppy these things will be an ongoing requirement. Topsy has shown no signs of any food aggression.
Topsy sleeps in her crate at night and loves to go in there during the day when she needs a rest.
This little girl will make a beautiful addition to a family who wants a very smart little dog with a ton of personality.
