Found wandering the streets of Dandenong soaking wet after a deluge of rain and crying her heart out, Raine was rescued by a good Samaritan - and things started looking up.

Although initially a quiet and meek girl when she arrived in foster care, Raine’s bold nature slowly emerged as she relaxed and was able to be her authentic self.

Raine is no shrinking violet and has a very determined nature - she can hold her own and stand up for herself when the occasion requires it.

Raine certainly doesn’t lack courage. But underneath her sometimes gruff façade is a very insecure little girl. Once she gets to know and trust you, Raine will test your boundaries and steal your heart with her precocious ways.

Raine loves to be picked up and instantly covers you with kisses. She is happy to clean your face while you have her there, just in case there is some food left…

This kitten’s body practically vibrates with her purring when she is happy – and her happy time is when she is with her human. Raine truly just wants to belong and be loved.

They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder and we are hoping someone will see the inner beauty of this rather odd looking kitten.

Raine’s most outstanding feature is her amazing orange-coloured eyes. You will be mesmerized by them and one look from her will instantly engage you. Raine loves to look into your eyes and show you how adorable and worthy she really is.

Raine needs to be an only cat however she would be fine with a cat-friendly dog. She would make a wonderful companion for a single person; Raine is quite content to snooze while you work or potter around the house.

What matters to Raine is that she has your attention at the end of each day. Raine is highly intelligent and will bond with her person/people deeply.
