About Gordy
Little Gordy came to us over a month ago from a Brisbane Pound.
He was found in a large shopping centre, petrified. Only way to safely catch him was with a net, as this little fella is so small and terrified.
Gordy did his time in the pound, to see if someone would come looking for him. But fortunately for him he has ended up in care.
Gordy wasn’t microchipped or desexed and very little weight on him.
He has had all his vetwork that he needs doing.
Gordy still has two baby teeth that are very loose, and will eventually come out.
And he does have a Grade 2 Patella on his back right leg.
If you know your chis, most of them have some sort of grade patella, and can live very happy normal lives.
He is still a little scared of humans, but has improved tenfold, in care.
His two foster sibling have helped him learn to dog, and he loves the chi company.
Gordy would flourish, if his people are around him a little so he can get to know his people, and learn they are not wanting to harm him.
He does have a few little quirks that will be discussed with his potential family.
This little fella just wants to be loved and wants his own little chi family.

Adoption details
We shortlist and contact families who may fit the dogs needs. If indications are positive, normally after sleeping on it, a home check is organised, then an adoption agreement is completed, adoption donation (variable on account of age and health of individual dog) is transferred and the dog will become part of your family.
All our dogs have had a consultation with our vet, are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and treated for fleas. As we want every dog to be in its own family we try and fit dogs into forever homes, we don’t offer “Trials”. Naturally unforeseen circumstances arise occasionally where it’s preferable dogs come back to us as per our adoption agreement.
