About Sanji - 8 Week Old Border Collie X (Trial)
Sanji is an 8 week old, male, puppy. His mum is a Border Collie, and his dad is a Ridgeback Cross Mastiff.
Sanji is a lively and intelligent boy who lives with his sister, Sakura, and his fur foster sister. Sanji loves to explore and has a lot of energy, just like a puppy. He learned how to use the dog door when he was only six weeks old, right after he came into care. This way, he can come and go as he pleases and discover the world around him. Sanji sleeps well in his crate throughout the night. He's currently undergoing toilet training and is doing his best to go outside and do his business. Sanji is now ready for a new adventure - finding his forever home.
Sanji is a very healthy little puppy who has been raised in a home environment. He has been very well socialised with other puppies and adult dogs (small and large) and gets along well with them all. He's met lots of people and is friendly and affectionate with them.
Sanji will grow up to be a medium/large dog. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
It would be a big plus if you have a friendly adult dog as a teacher, companion and playmate for Sanji. If you don't have another dog to keep him company, then there needs to be someone in the household that doesn't work full time.
Sanji needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. He will be wonderful family dog and is suitable for children 8 years and older. You need good fencing with no small gaps. He can't go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).
Sanji's sibling Sakura is also available for adoption.
Sanji's adoption fee is $700 which includes his desexing when he is old enough. It also includes his first two vaccinations. He has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.
Sanji is in foster care in Lemon Tree Passage, NSW. Since he is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. He'll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when he's 5 to 6 months old.
