About Marta
Marta is a kitten who always wants to be with her humans. She likes sleeping in between her foster parents' pillows so she can always be near to them.
She loves playing with her toys and will chase bit of string and jingly balls for ages, but the best fun is when her humans play with her. That's the best of both worlds!
She loves hanging out with her foster brother and sister cats. She would curl up with her foster sister Quartz, but now Quartz has gone off to her forever home, so she's looking for a new friend. She would love a house with other cats to play with.
Marta is a very well behaved kitten. She never claws the furniture and always uses her litter box. But she really wishes the humans would share more of their delicious food with her. She'll sit as close as possible to you when you're eating and beg for bits off your plate. It's obvious food is the way to her heart!
Is this adorable tabby floof destined for your house?
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
