About Wilson
Wilson is a tiny kitten with a big personality. He came into rescue all skin and bones. When he realised he could have all the food he wanted, he ate so much that he looked like a ball on legs. He's still pretty skinny, but a loving home and good food should have him sorted out in no time.
Despite how little he is, he is big on confidence. When he arrived at his foster home he wasn't shy at all! He checked out ever corner, every person, the other cats and the dogs with absolutely no fear. If a door was closed, no problem. He's so little he'd just slide under it!
He'll happily rumble with some of the other bigger kittens in his foster home. It's like he doesn't realise they're twice his size.
He purrs and purrs when you pick him up and cuddle him and will happily sit in your arms and be carried around the house.
His confidence means he's great with kids, other cats and dogs. Nothing phases him. He'd be happy in any household where there's plenty of food and love!
Medical notes
Wilson was unable to be vaccinated as a result of the current vaccination shortage. His adoption fee has been reduced from our standard fee as a result.
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
