About Missy & Peanut
Missy (Female – White and Black) & Peanut (Male - Tan) are a bonded pair of mini lop eared rabbits, approximately 2 ½ years old.
They have lived both inside & outside (currently inside). They also love the option to free run from time to time, outside their enclosure. This is when they do the most binkies.
Both rabbits are very sweet and enjoy short cuddles, Peanut probably loves the attention a little more than Missy.
They love digging in their sandpit, running through their many tunnels and lazing about together. They love their hay but also love the treat of parsley, spinach, apple and carrot. They also have regular pellets and they love things to chew on.
Medical notes
Missy grows her teeth quiet quickly and will require regular trims.
Both Missy and Peanut are desexed.
Both are healthy and happy.
Adoption details
Firstly you will need to complete an application with your name and address and contact details for the microchip records. Our online application form is available on our website https://radarescue.org/adoption
Or an application form can be requested by using the Email Carer feature on the pet's listing.
Please note that while we consider all applications in the order in which we receive them, our animals are not adopted out on a first come, first served basis. Our objective is to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable ‘forever’ home available to meet the animal's (and the person’s) characteristics and needs.
The final decision about which new home the animal goes to is made by the foster carer based on their knowledge and understanding of the potential home and the personality of the individual animal. Sometimes it may take several enquiries before you find the right RADAR furry friend for you!
We will need a non-refundable holding deposit of $50 minimum to hold a pet for you whilst awaiting everything to be finalised, however this amount is deducted from the adoption fee.
RADAR expects full payment on exchange of the pet or prior to it leaving on transport.
RADAR expects you to be responsible for transport costs. We can help source appropriate transport options or help find accommodation if you need to travel and stay overnight.
It is understood that if all goes wrong that you can return the pet safely and unharmed to RADAR for a full refund within two weeks of the adoption.
