MY PROFILE:
Moon is a magical black cat with a signature spackle of white on his chest like a dusting of stars in the night.
He is comparatively the most shy of his very outgoing litter-mates, but there is a bright glimmer of a wonderful, sweet and charming cat that always shines through. Whilst he currently may not be the most receptive of physical affection (except from other cats) he makes up for it with his attentiveness and his talkative personality. Moon is the chatterbox of his litter-mates. He responds to his name and you can end up having a “conversation” with him as he responds with a variety of chirps, trills, meows, prrps and silent meows.
He is a total individual; a spunky rebel, punk rock kitty! He loves to play and run around. He also enjoys wrestling with other cats. He’s full of energy and will always be keen to play with you. Whether its toys, tunnels, wands, cat trees or laser pointers; all of these get a real workout with him.
Moon is not afraid to meet new cats, and eager to make new cat friends. He loves the resident cat at his foster carers' home who he bunts and plays with. He also is close to his remaining sibling Trixie. They snuggle together and groom each other. He always tries to make friends with the other two resident cats who haven’t been keen on reciprocating, but he never stops trying! As such he would benefit from a home with another friendly cat, or be adopted with his sister Trixie as he is used to the interaction and company.
Moon can get easily overwhelmed by things he finds scary (vacuum cleaners for example), and places unfamiliar to him. He is prone to some anxiety. But he is growing more resilient every day. He would benefit from an owner with experience, patience and dedication.
Moon is destined to be an amazing kitty. He just needs an owner who respects and understands him. He is a very sharp, observant boy who likes to do things his way and won't always be willing to have a pat or be picked up. Moon knows what he wants, when he wants it. Whilst he finds all the physical attention from his foster humans still a little perplexing, playing with him and chatting with him is absolutely the key to his heart!
