About Fergie
Fergie is a gorgeous kitten. She is happy and playful and her zoomies come out of nowhere! 🤣 She will suddenly take off and do laps around the house showing you how happy she is!
She’s had a tough life and has shown us she is nothing but brave.
Fergie loves life, loves her toys, loves other cats. She’s a smooch and a lovebug. She likes to sit in the window and watch the birds and then zooms around the house pretending she can catch them.
When Fergie first came into care her eyes were completely glued shut with cat flu.
They were so bad we all thought she would lose them.
Fergie still has scarring on both her lenses but she can see well and it doesn’t bother her.
She may have slight vision loss but it’s minimal.
She's hugely human focussed. And has become food focussed a bit too lol. And she absolutely loves to play she's quite the perfect companion.
Take a chance on Fergie. Come meet her. She is as pretty as any other kitten and her purrsonality matches.
Medical notes
Fergie came into care as a two week old with terrible herpes virus - cat flu. We all thought she would lose both eyes and be blind. Her eyes have improved dramatically through medication however she has some scarring on her lenses. Fergie can see as well as any cat.
Fergies eyelids are attaching to her retinas but specialists have said as she is in no discomfort there is no need for surgery - we can not rule it out in the future.
Cat flu can often deter people from adopting; but you wouldn’t actually be able to tell a recovered cat flu cat from a non-cat flu cat. Humans can’t catch it, but other cats can; but only if the cat is showing flu symptoms. Stressful situations like desexing, or a dramatic change in environment can lead to a recovered cat experiencing cat flu again, but this is usually short lived and rarely requires medical intervention. Most cats will recover on their own providing their vaccines are up to date.

Adoption details
Our adoption costs cover microchipping, desexing, up to date vaccinations to time of adoption.
All cats over 6 months will have had a FIV test.
All cats are desexed before adoption.
We offer a minimum two week trial on all cats. We will refund the adoption fee and take the cat back within this time frame if the adoption does not work out. We provide assistance throughout this period and have an Adopters Club on Facebook.
We do not adopt out single kittens to busy households with no one home all day.
If you are a busy household and after just one cat please consider a juvenile or adult.
Kittens are very social and require company - if the family is out at work and school all day long - it’s just not fair on the kitten.
We adopt to indoor only homes. We put so much work into saving our fosters lives we cannot risk them being hit by cars in an outdoor environment.
We ask interested adopters to please fill in a short application and attend a meet and greet before committing. We want to ensure the cat is the right fit for you.
We do not transport kittens interstate. Sydney only please.
