About Destiny
This beautiful and charming girl Destiny is searching for her fur-ever home this summer.. Could this be you?
Destiny is looking for a snuggle bug! She loves nothing more than a smooch and a cuddle, demanding all your affection and attention at all times!
She's a super friendly gal, warming up quickly to everyone that she meets, seeking constant smooches from you and in return she will be making biscuits and purrrrring in no time! Maybe even happy drooling.... Once you hit that spot that she loves!
She's also a BIG sucker for bum scratches whilst she eats all the delicious food you have to offer! Like we said, she LOVES attention.
Destiny would be a suitable match for any household! You've got kids or no kids? Or even another fur-kid at home that needs company? Destiny doesn't mind! She just wants a family that will attend to her every need and shower her with all their love.
Destiny is cat social, as long as the other cat isn't all up in her face all the time and respects her space. Thus, if you have another calm cat and looking for a new addition to your family, Destiny could be the purrrr-fect fit!
If you spoil Destiny, she'll be your fur-ever friend.
To book a meet and greet with Destiny please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
