About Opal
Introducing Opal!
We are sure you will fall in love with pretty Opal instantly!
She has a beautiful personality to match her beautiful grey coat, she is so sweet and cuddly and will climb up on your lap for pats, she loves her humans and being close to them, she also loves to just curl up on her cat tree and watch the world go by. She still loves to play with cat toys and finds cat teasers her favourite!
You’ll never have to worry about what time it is when Opal is around, Opal will be sure to let you know when it is food time (the most important time of the day!) by giving you head nudges and little meows
Opal is confident and comfortable around other cats and dogs that have manners.
We estimate this perfect little love bug to be around 6 months old, she has had her first vaccination and has been desexed!

Opal is up to date with flea and worming treatments. Opal is microchipped, vaccinated and desexed.
Her adoption fee is $300 and is in foster care at Crestmead - South Brisbane.
She is not available for interstate adoption.

At The Mini Rescue, we strive to make the adoption process as seamless as possible. We understand that bringing a new pet into your home is a big decision that will enrich your life in countless ways. That’s why we’ve developed a clear, step-by-step guide to help you find your perfect match and provide a loving home for one of our precious animals. Our dedicated team is here to support you every step of the way, from your initial interest to the joyful day you bring your new friend home.
How to Adopt: A Step-By-Step Guide:
1. Browse Our Selection: Visit our Animals page and use the menu to view the various pets we have available. Choose between cats and dogs to narrow your search.
2. Expression of Interest: Found a pet that captures your heart? Reach out to us for an Expression of Interest (EOI) form to initiate the process.
3. Patience is a Virtue: We meticulously review every EOI to ensure each animal goes to the right home. Thank you for your patience during this critical stage.
4. Meet Your Potential Pet: If your EOI is approved, we'll organise a Meet & Greet session. It’s a great opportunity for both you and the animal to see if it’s a perfect match.
5. Adoption Application & Home Review: If you're ready to move forward, you'll need to complete our adoption application and agree to a home review.
6. Review & Approval: Your application and home review will be assessed to guarantee a secure, loving environment for your potential pet.
7. Adoption Fee: Upon approval, you'll be required to pay the non-negotiable adoption fee. This fee directly supports our animal care efforts.
8. Welcome Home: Once the fee is processed, we'll coordinate the special day when you can bring your new pet home.
