About Fig
Fig is a delightful girl who adores human company. Although she can happily entertain herself, she prefers to have human company throughout the day as she can suffer a little mild anxiety.
Born with a Grade 4 heart murmur, this 2 year old girl is certainly unaware of any limitations in life and loves to play. Her play does need to be managed to ensure she does not become too excited, she requires short but frequent walks and needs a cool environment in the heat of summer so her heart and body is not working overtime to try to keep cool.
Fig is still learning doggy communication and requires slow introduction as she can become quite excited meeting other dogs. She's not fond of cats but loves keeping watch over the chickens in her foster home.
Fig's foster family have cared for numerous dogs in their foster years and state that Fig is an absolute gem of a dog, one of the best they have ever had in their care. If they were in a position to bring a dog permanently into their lives, she would be adopted by them in a flash. With Fig, you'll find endless love and companionship.
