About Misty
Misty is an adorable almost two year old playful young cat with a strong preference for human companionship and human laps. Her possum-like fur remarkably dense and velvety.
She was saved from being eaten by foxes by a kind family in Woodend who regretfully couldn’t keep her. Misty is now looking for her forever home.
She’s finally discovered the benefits of a nice warm lap. She will sit and knead and purr while you watch television. She is gentle and playful (please check out her videos). She stands up for herself whenever the older cats try to push her around (probably why she survived the foxes!) She is no pushover.
She is an independent cat and would suit a household with working owner/s. It should be noted, however, that Misty would be at her most contented if she had access to a netted yard or enclosure where she could continue to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine.
Her strong independent personality leads us to believe she would prefer to be an only cat. This means you don’t have to worry about finding her a companion.
You may enjoy the fact that Misty has now taken to following her carer around the house and prefers to sleep nearby at night. She would make a wonderful companion to anybody seeking companionship from someone other than themselves!
Would you like to meet her? Her carer is always available to arrange a meeting.
Medical notes
Historic damage to cornea of left eye leaving a cloudy lense. No impact on vision.
