About Shirley - Located in Kew
Hello there, wonderful human beings! My name is Shirley, and let me tell you, I'm the cuddle champion of the feline world! If there's one thing I excel at, it's snuggling up with my favorite people and melting their hearts with my purrs of pure joy.
I may look all dainty and delicate, but don't be fooled, I'm a fierce cuddle warrior! My favorite activity? Oh, you guessed it—snuggling! Whether it's on the couch, in bed, or even on a cozy blanket by the fireplace, count me in! I'm like a fluffy, purring teddy bear just waiting for someone to hug.
Now, let's talk about my friends. Oh, Custard! My partner in crime, my snuggle buddy extraordinaire! We've formed a bond so special, it's like we're two peas in a pod, or should I say, two furry snuggle bugs in a cozy blanket fort! We go together like peanut butter and jelly, like catnip and crazy antics.
But hey, I'm not just all about cuddles. I'm also quite the social butterfly! I love meeting new people and making friends wherever I go. With a gentle introduction, I'm sure to win over even the most skeptical hearts.
Oh, did I mention I'm open to living with other furry friends too? Yep, you heard that right! Whether it's another cat or a gentle dog, I'm all for expanding my cuddle circle and spreading the love.
So, if you're looking for the ultimate cuddle buddy with a heart as big as my purrs, look no further! Adopt me and Custard, and get ready for a lifetime of love, laughter, and endless snuggles. We promise to fill your days with warmth and your nights with sweet dreams. Let's make some memories together!

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
