About Charlie
Charlie is an 8-year-old black and white Kelpie x Border Collie, and has not put a foot wrong since coming into foster care.
For Charlie, age is just a number, and despite his Gandalf beard, he has a real pep in his step. He loves nothing more than going for a stroll and when he’s done with his walk, you’ll find him lazing around the house in all his favourite spots - mostly by your side or playing with his toys.
He knows all the basic commands sit, stay, drop, shake, stops at the curb on command, will wait patiently for his food, and is a dream to walk on the lead. Charlie can get a bit anxious around big dogs, especially while on lead, and is still learning to love the car - but we’re working on it!
He just wants to be loved and be part of your life so would suit most households. It would be a bonus if you live on a property or could offer him the country lifestyle. Charlie has done well with his border collie foster brother and would do fine with another dog or as an only dog - he’s also not phased by goats and sheep!!
This old boy deserves all the love in the world and if you’re ready to welcome an affectionate, easy going doggo into your life please apply!
Charlie is located in VIC.
Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
