Meet Zale, a ball of loveable energy whom showers his carers with nothing but endless love and affection. Zale is a high energy goof ball who absolutely adores going on car rides (travels like a champ!) and long trail walks down to the beach. When Zale isn’t out and about, he thoroughly enjoys the company of his carers and when he requires a quick puppy nap, he’ll be sure to seek out a safe bed or crate nearby his carers to have a snooze… and snore!

With the typical kelpie brain, Zale requires lots of stimulation, so a family who will include him into their daily activities and exercise is an absolute necessity…. unless you want your garden rearranged, count him in! Zale is absolutely thriving in his foster home with their 6-month-old resident dog and adores interaction with other canine friends, therefore his ideal home would include a friendly doggy playmate or someone who is home more often than not. Zale has learnt to sit, drop, stay and working on shake in his foster home. He is also crate trained at night and is learning that inside is for quiet time. Despite this Zale will require ongoing training, which will be great fun as he is a smart little cookie. Zale walks well on the leash and is extremely receptive to treats when you need to grab his attention. He is easily excited and sometimes bounces around, however a quick ‘Zale sit’ resolves this.

In Zales foster home, he is surrounded by many foster cats and kittens. He has shown nothing but love towards the cats, especially when they rub themselves up on him. He is still learning he can’t chase when they run, but this is just him trying to be besties with them, no aggression at all!

Zale is a super friendly little boy who is ready to find his active forever home!
